Trio promote and support childminders wishing to enhance and improve practice through Quality Improvement Processes. Trio pioneered and continue to successfully manage the birth-3 provision in three Children Centres, utilising home-based childcarers' flexible services.

Working in conjunction with the county council team Trio provide a holistic childminding support service in the County.

Plymouth
Trio offers a holistic childminding support service from expression of interest to register through a career of professional development opportunities. The purpose of this service is to facilitate the quality and integration of registered childminders and home based child carers with other local childcare services offering real choice for parents.

Swindon
Trio contract with Swindon Borough Council to provide advice, support and training to all Registered Childminders and childminding applicants to help them deliver the highest quality of care. This support takes the form of a telephone helpline, group and home visits, practical doorstep training as well as qualificatory opportunities and mentoring.
