If you are a Local Authority Childminding Lead and want to know more about how Trio Childcare's excellent history and continuing unrivalled knowledge of Registered Childminding can support you meet your local responsibilities, please contact Julia Hinns or call 01793 608833.  They will be happy to come and meet with you to discuss your specific requirements.

Currently across the South West of England in several Local Authorities, Trio Service Level Agreements to directly support, quality improve, train and develop Registered Childminders. Trio continue to tender for such support services, where we feel this will complement our existing business portfolio and where we are sure that we have the expertise and infrastructure to deliver such service to a high quality, exceeding the requirements of the Local Authority.

Additionally however, for those Local Authorities who provide this childminding support directly within their council resources, Trio offer our bespoke training package, TLC, to support you in widening and adapting childminding services to meet government initiatives and your local specific targets.

Trio's Quality Improvement Network is all encompassing for childminders to reflect on and evidence their own unique childminding service, starting with the requirements of the EYFS and Ofsted inspections whilst challenging the more experienced in their thought processes. This Network provides a bespoke answer to local authority's priorities; gaps in provision; and childcare aspirations. The specialist status enables those targeted areas such as caring for a disabled child and providing funded places for 2 year olds to really be a focus for childminding provision in your area.

We also offer a unique answer to your childminding registration course, currently known as CYPOP 5 within the Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.
